23 Dec 2011: Movie date with the QCs. We catch Mission Impossible 4 - Ghost Protocol. & also walked from Somerset -> Orchard -> Somerset -> Dhoby Ghaut -> City Hall just to catch the Chritmas Lights.

Overnight for a day in Pulau Ubin since the race starts as early as six in the morning on the day after.

We went a whole lot of the bumpy rides on the bikes, getting all dirty on the mud, fell once as I slipped, kayak for quite a long distance, the 2 hours of swim (could be not longer than 2 hours as I don't know how to swim & my other team members experiece a leg cramp while swimming so had to only depend on my other team mate & the incident which I won't forget. But, at the end of the day, We all are still a survivor. The pots team, started & end the race together. We did very a great job!

A 60km night cycling from East Coast Park -> Bishan Park -> Marina Barrage -> East Coast Park. & end the day with a pain in the ass.

First & foremost, I would like to take this opportunity to thanks everyone for the Birthday wishes which happens a couple of days ago, be it personally or on social network. It means a lot to me!

Also in few hours’ time, in a glimpse of an eye, it will mark a brand new year! Never thought that 2011 would end this quick. With this, I would like to do a little recap on how my 2011 was like.

This is going to be all over the place & wordy but, here we go.

So, I started working Full-Time at the beginning of the year while waiting for myself getting into Higher Nitec. Spend around 3 months & met different kind of people. & there were many who I believed that missed me when I left the job to continue studying as a Full-Time student.
Somewhere in the middle while I was working, I graduated from my Nitec course, Digital Audio Video Production.
Then, I got myself into Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering. Getting into the course was a choice that’s been discussed between my family & I because, it’s nothing related to my previous course. But I was sure that I would be able to cope since it involves maths & I’m fine with the subject. & also, during that period of time, my sis was a fresh graduand in her course in NTU so, I could get her guide whenever I need to since my course is very much related to hers.
& yes, I’m very aware that there will be more dudes than the babes, getting into an Engineering course especially. I was kinda speechless during the first day of orientation. There were like only 3 girls including me. & since I was from a Nitec course, so I thought that I might be older than them if they were N/O Level student. I was so wrong. They all happened to be from Nitec course & no, I’m not older but in fact the youngest among my class.
Also, I noticed that my mates kinda knew each other & have their own circle of friends. & I didn’t really know which group I should be in so, as a very shy girl that I am, I hang out with the other two girls, most of the time. But I didn't hang around with my mates that much so I would always meet Dhilah right after school since, she is the only person I know in that campus at that moment. Then I made new friends with some of her mates & it’s funny how I got closer to her mates, much faster than my own.
Then I joined Outdoor Adventure Club with no intention in joining it. Got myself involved with the fun filled activities that have been prepared for us. & that is where I make friends from other courses.
Also, recently I'm starting to get more comfortable with my mates. I know it took me quite a long period of time but I guess I changed my impression of them. They turned out to be likewise from what I thought they were. I doubt they would be reading this. They don’t even know the existence of this blog but, yeah.

Well, that is how my 2011 flows like. Other than that, I also spend my 2011 with some of the events & trips which I would not like to forget.

• Went for Volunteer walk with to Marina Bay Sands with the Baharom family.
• I had my first virgin trip on the plane to Bandung for my uncle’s wedding.
• Night Walk with OAC mates. We made it from Clementi to Hort Park. Yes, that far!
• Celebrate National Day on the Padang. Thanks, to my uncle for the tickets!
• Went on a 5 days trip to Perak, Malaysia with OAC mates for an Overseas Sports & Cultural Programme.
• F1, Singtel Singapore Grand Prix; final day.
• The nEbo Quest Challenge that I had to team up with the Unspectable team; Wan Keherl, Haji Mok & Qai Nger. & we ended our day with the rides at Escape Theme Park.
• Sis's nikah that happened on a hot day, 11 November 2011 & sanding on the day, after.
• 60km Night Cycling with the OAC mates from East Coast Park to Bishan Park to Marina Barrage & back to East Coast Park.
• Pulau Ubin trip for the Avontuur Roar race with the Hots-pot team; Haji Mok & Qai Nger & the rest of the pots too!
• Singapore Zoo trip with the Electronic students on the day before my birthday.
• Also just yesterday, the family & I did quite a lot of activities together. Let's call it, a family outing.

2011 has been a meaningful year, to me. How was your 2011?

A day, filled with kayaking, rock climbing & abseiling. & not to forget, it was my first trip to Pulau Ubin too.
